Our 6 Waterfront Lodges and Chalets are right by the water and feature huge glass sliding doors, showing off the spectacular view over the lake to Ben Lomond and the Menteith Hills.
Our 11 charming Log Cabins, each sleeping 4 people, form a crescent overlooking the lake. Relax and unwind in the peaceful Trossachs landscape enjoying views of the lake and hills beyond.
A beautiful, traditional stone cottage, The Coach House is the largest holiday rental here at Lochend Chalets. This former stables - ideal for large families or groups of friends.

Experience the Healing of Nature at Lochend. Relax, breathe and take time... as highly oxygenated air, wild swimming in the lake, steamy saunas and gentle exercise works it's magic in this unique wellness environment.
Situated on the banks of The Lake of Menteith, Lochend offers wild swimming and safe shallows for children to play. Paddleboarding, kayaking, fishing and the row boat are popular water activities with guests.
Sheltered below ancient oak trees just back from the lake, our play area has a double-story wooden playhouse and woodland kitchen for younger guests, and a giant chess set and swings that are popular with guests of all ages.
From bird watching to stargazing, tennis, challenges in the games room, culinary adventure at the Cook school, feeding the ducks, walking the nature trail or simply soaking up the views, Lochend has something for everyone.
Hidden away on 38 tranquil acres beside the Lake of Menteith, the shore and woods around our cabins and lodges shelter a wealth of birdlife and other wildlife, including otters, deer, red squirrels and pine martens.

SHORT BREAKS AT LOCHEND CHALETS
We offer short breaks of 2 nights, 3 and 4 nights, a week or longer at Lochend Chalets depending on the time of year. It's the perfect place to escape, relax and unwind.
Only an hour from Glasgow and Edinburgh, we lie in the middle of Scotland. Lochend is a perfect base from which to enjoy the breathtaking Scottish countryside, with the Highlands and Islands, St Andrews and Cairngorms all just a day trip away.
Or just relax by the lakeside. Lochend Chalets has a tennis court, games room, bike park and a rowing boat. The Nick Nairn Cook school is on site, offering family restaurant nights in summer and cooking courses in winter. We enjoy wildlife in abundance, too, from ospreys wheeling over the lake, to a clan of happy ducks, plus pine martens and red squirrels (but we can't take pets - sorry).

THE COACH HOUSE
The Coach House is a beautiful, traditional stone cottage, and the largest holiday rental here at Lochend. Sleeping up to 10 guests, this former stable is ideally suited for large families or groups of friends, with a lovely conservatory lounge off the kitchen/dining room, outdoor dining furniture on decking above a private garden, and a hot tub overlooking fields and rolling farmland.
WIDGEON & IT'S NEST
Our Widgeon Waterfront Lodges has been extended towards the lake with huge glass sliding doors showing off the spectacular view over the lake toward Ben Lomond and the Menteith Hills. As well as being bigger Widgeon has been given a stylish, contemporary makeover. Flooded by light the lodge now has a cool scandi-minimalist interior softened by huge corner sofas.
THE PINE LODGE
Pine Lodge is a pretty wee log cabin some 15m from the Log Cabins with views from the open-plan kitchen/lounge over a wild duck pond and the Lake of Menteith just beyond. Bird and bat boxes on the trees in front of the patio make this a great option for wildlife lovers. With all the comforts of a home from home Pine Lodge has a solid birch kitchen and all the utensils you' need.
